In the last year I visited over 500 children in ten orphanages in Ukraine. I was blessed to teach the Gospel in 3 orphanages where 130 children gave their lives to Jesus! I plan to visit Ukraine twice a year and to set up a non-profit fund-raising organization called, “Hearts for Ukraine” to bring the Gospel to this nation. I have also visited Kyiv and Moscow to pray for the government, people and nations of Ukraine and Russia.
On my next trip to Ukraine in May 2008, I will lead a small group to remote areas seeking out orphanages in which to preach the Good News of Jesus Christ. My goal is to reach 1,000 orphans with the Gospel in 4 weeks, and to provide age appropriate Bible materials to all children ages 7 to 17 (and adult leaders). I will begin working to network the orphanages I’ve visited before with area churches to connect these children to a church so they can continue in their walk with the Lord. Then in Eastern Ukraine I will seek out other poor and lost orphans in remote towns and villages along the Russian border. Over the next few years, this will become a full-time ministry where I will lead both orphan missions trips and prayer tours in Ukraine and Russia.
They are always running short of basic supplies like soap, toothpaste, and pencils, and in some remote areas there is a shortage of fresh fruit. When visiting these orphanages I come equipped with food and small gifts, lesson plans, books, teaching supplies, translators, the Word of God and His Spirit!
Ukrainian Orphans Are In Desperate Need!
Our Surplus Is Their Abundance!
$1 can buy a child 2 bars of soap, toothpaste, pencils and a small toy.
$25 will provide 150 servings of fresh fruit.
$100 will buy a nutritious meal for 50-60 children!
$500 will provide for my transportation, translators, and lodging to reach 250 kids in 5 days!
What Can You Do?
Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked. Psalm 82: 3-4
These orphans and this ministry need you prayers and support. They need clothes, food, toiletries & school supplies, life training and most of all the Hope that only Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ can offer! Please pray and make a donation as the Holy Spirit moves you to help these poor kids.

Ukrainian Orphans Are In Desperate Need!
- An estimated 100,000 orphans live in Ukraine: many in basements, streets, and under trees.
- Orphanages graduate children at 17 and send them out – no job training, food, money or home.
- Many turn to drugs and alcohol while others are lured into human sex trafficking.
- Only about 5% of Ukraine orphans are adopted into families.

What Can You Do?
- Pray that these orphans will turn away from prostitution, crime, drug abuse, & suicide, and turn to God.
- Pray for their provision, salvation and growth in the Lord.
- Come with me for a week this May, or on another visit and touch the lives of these beautiful children. Write to me at hearts4ukraine@verizon.net if interested.
